Engineer and Designer
Contract, per project. Remote.
This is one role because splitting it produces worse work. The person who builds a client's delivery microsite is the person who decides what goes on it and how it reads. Nicole reviews, and she writes code herself, so expect the review to be specific.
What you would be doing
- Build and ship on claudetraining.com. Next.js and TypeScript, Tailwind, deployed on Vercel.
- Build the surfaces clients receive: per-client microsites and blueprints, each one typed and gated, never a template with the name swapped.
- Build the Claude work clients buy: Projects, Skills, connectors, and Claude Code setups that survive contact with a real workday.
- Hold the design system. It exists, it is documented, and the job is to work inside it rather than relitigate it every sprint.
Who this fits
- You ship. Your portfolio is live URLs.
- You are comfortable being the only engineer on a piece of work.
- You write well enough that your copy needs editing rather than rewriting.
- You already build with Claude Code, and you can show what you built with it.
On the larger builds
Bigger client builds go to contractors we have certified ourselves. If you are not certified yet, that is the path rather than a gate. Nothing stops you starting on smaller scoped work in the meantime.
How this role is paid
Per project, scoped and quoted before anything starts. Nicole sets what the client pays; your rate gets set on the first call.
