Workshop Facilitator
Contract, per session. US-based, with New York days.
A session succeeds when people leave having built something in their own Claude account. It fails when they leave having watched a demo. That single standard is most of what this role is, and it is harder than it sounds when the room is full of people who bill by the hour.
What you would be doing
- Deliver the standard Foundations block live over Zoom, and in person in New York when a client asks for it.
- Run rooms of roughly 10 to 80 people, most of them senior, many of them openly unconvinced.
- Keep every minute hands-on. People build in their own account during the session or the session did not work.
- Write the notes afterward that change what the next session does.
Who this fits
- You have facilitated live professional training, with exercises people had to complete. Conference talks are a different skill.
- You can hold a room when a live demo breaks, because eventually it will.
- You are US-based and can get to New York for in-person days.
- You use Claude daily in your own work, and you can say what it is bad at.
How you'd start
Shadow a session, then co-facilitate, then solo. Nobody gets put in front of a client room cold, and the ramp moves at the speed of how you do rather than a fixed calendar.
How this role is paid
Per session, plus paid prep. Rate gets set on the first call against what you have delivered before.
