Sales Lead

Contract, commission-weighted. Remote, US hours.

Every deal here starts with someone senior who has already bought Claude seats and watched most of them go unused. You own that conversation from the first touch to the signature: the inbound that arrives warm, the follow-up that keeps it alive, and the outbound campaign that creates one where none existed. The motion here is still being built, so you shape it rather than inherit a playbook, and the single thing that matters most is that you do what you said you would do on the day you said it.

What you would be doing

  • Work the inbound. Calls, form submissions and referrals arrive warm, and the job is to get them qualified and scheduled before the interest cools.
  • Run first calls with private equity, investment banking, capital management, retail and manufacturing companies.
  • Own the follow-up. Most deals here are won or lost in the three weeks after the first call, on whether anyone kept writing.
  • Build and run cold email campaigns. List, sequence, copy, replies, all of it yours.
  • Qualify against a short offer ladder: Quick Start, Executive 1:1, the Custom Program, the Rollout, and the Build Sprint. Five things to sell, and you will know all five cold by week two.
  • Keep the pipeline honest. A deal with no next date is not a deal, and the CRM should say so.
  • Hand scope to Nicole. She sets price and scope on every engagement.

Who this fits

  • You have personally closed a professional services engagement in the tens of thousands of dollars, to a finance audience, without a sales engineer next to you.
  • You can hold a first call with a managing director and not get talked past.
  • You have written cold email that got replies from senior people, and you can show the sequence.
  • You would rather know one offer to the floorboards than six at surface level.
  • You use Claude in your own work every day. Buyers ask, and they can tell.
  • This gets your main working hours, and same-week follow-up is realistic for you.

Who this does not fit

  • Anyone who needs a marketing team to hand them a finished list and a written sequence before they can start.
  • Anyone who wants to manage rather than sell. Everyone in sales here carries their own pipeline.

The standard

Every inbound gets a reply within one business day. Every call has a written follow-up within 24 hours. The CRM matches reality at the end of each week, including the deals that died. If a date slips, you say so before it slips rather than after. None of this is difficult. All of it is the job, and it is written here so the expectation is clear in week one.

Where this can go

Sales at Elevate is early, and for the right person this can grow into a strategic partnership rather than staying a contract. That is a real path and worth asking about on the first call. What it looks like in practice is Nicole's to define, and she will define it against what you have built by the time the conversation comes up.

How this role is paid

Commission-weighted contract, with a floor through the first months while the pipeline builds. The number gets set on the first call, against what you have closed before.
